Clinical Research in Pediatric Oncology workshop | July 1-4, 2025

Dear EURO Regional Program members,

We are excited to share this amazing opportunity offered by the Princess Maxima Center.

The Clinical Research in Pediatric Oncology (CRPO) Workshop will take place on July 1-4, 2025, in the Netherlands.

This theoretical and practical 4-day workshop aims to train early-career clinicians who want to get involved in clinical research to design and write a study synopsis for a late phase clinical trial (medicines) or a drug treatment protocol within the context of (mainly) European legislation.

The workshop consists of 4 Live Days preceded by an extensive online program. During the first 3 Live Days, the participants will be trained in the theoretical aspects of designing and writing a study synopsis or treatment protocol. These interactive lectures, focus sessions and expert panels will be given by (inter)national experts in the field and will take place in the morning. In the afternoon there are hands-on workshops and time to write the research synopsis or treatment protocol summary with faculty input.

During the 4th day, the synopsis or summary is completed and presented to colleagues. The comprehensive synopsis or summary can be used as the basis for completing a study or treatment protocol and implementing it in the local setting.

The CRPO Workshop is open to a maximum of 30 live participants who will be selected based on their motivation letter, curriculum vitae and study/treatment protocol proposal. The cost of live participation is 950 EUR.

For interested parties who would only like to gain knowledge about this topic, it is also possible to participate during the morning program. Online participants will have access to the online pre-program, but will not receive faculty input from the experts on their study synopsis or treatment protocol. There is no selection process for online participation. The cost for online participation is 395 EUR.

Sincerely,

St. Jude Global EURO Regional Program
